Welcome to Moonshadow!

We are your hosts, Steven and Jeanette. We purchased Moonshadow in July of 2018, and relocated from San Diego, CA. with our two pups, Maya and Chloe. We are often asked “why here, (you know it snows right…)?” Well, one look at our view and you’ll understand! We absolutely love it here, it is incredibly beautiful, everyone is so friendly, the wine is fantastic and there is so much to do! What more could we ask for?

 

Back in San Diego…

Steven had a very successful catering company and restaurant, both of which he sold after 10 years. Jeanette has a great job in the fashion industry as a stylist, and still flies around for bookings in the off-season.  We don’t have kids, and decided it was time for a change of scenery. We had been looking for a B&B for many years all over the world and knew the right one would come along when the time was right. Well, the stars aligned, and Voila!                                                                                                Moonshadow found us.

 

We like to say we are a “unique” bed & breakfast, and not just because we lack all the antiques and doilies you normally find. We bring to the B&B our laid-back California style, comforting cuisine, and friendly attitudes. We love what we do, and pinch ourselves daily marveling at how fortunate we are. Our furnishings, linens, and decor are light & airy, and reflect a contemporary style, even in a house built in 1888! It's super simple here and we hope you feel at ease when you arrive and throughout your stay. ...We will take care of the rest. We've chosen this location for its pristine air quality, and quiet, magical surroundings …And of course the wine!
