This was our 3rd trip to Moonshadow but our first in the fall The colors in the area are spectacular and of course regardless of the time year Jeanette and Steven are the ultimate hosts. The food is amazing, the accommodations are great and they are both super nice people that make you feel at home. Can't wait until our next trip up.
My husband and I stayed here for a weekend wine getaway. From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we were smitten. The B&B is an old farmhouse that has been expanded and updated. There were outside white lights (which I'm a sucker for!) and a fire going. Our hosts had made a homemade apple pie. We sat by the fire, ate amazing pie and chatted with the other guests. Our room was so comfortable. We had great views of Keuka Lake. The bed was so cozy. The breakfasts were delicious. We took some of the homemade spicey sauce home with us. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. They gave us all kinds of recommendations for wineries and little places off the beaten path. I can't say enough about this Keuka Lake gem! It was perfect and we had the most amazing little getaway. Oh, and it is just minutes from Dr. Frank's Winery, which is the must-go winery on the lake.
Jeanette and Steven are the Perfect Hosts in this wonderful B&B at the Keuka Lake. You do not feel like “guests” when you arrive. The Rooms are also very nice and modern equipped and decorated. Every morning coffee is ready at 7:30 and you can sit on the veranda listen to the sound of birds and summer. Breakfast was awesome every morning different served at a huge table with all other guests with a view to the lake. We very much enjoyed staying there for a week during our summer vacation in the US and enjoyed the silence and comfort after one week in Manhattan. Thanks a lot again
