It was unbelievable that, just 16 days earlier, new owners Steven and Jeanette Harp opened their vision of MoonShadow. Of the 5 B&B's we visited during our stay in the Finger Lakes region, this was our hands-down favorite. With the Harps' previous experience in the catering business and involvement with AirBnB, the charming and attractive couple have created a very perfect getaway for their guests. The home is beautifully designed, with great views of Keuka Lake. We stayed two nights in spacious and beautifully decorated Luna Vista Suite, on the first floor, with a great view of the lake. (We checked out the other beautiful guest rooms, all located on the second floor, and were very happy with our choice.) The sit-down breakfast was hot, plentiful and delicious: waffles with homemade raspberry butter, sage sausages, fresh fruit, juices and coffee. MoonShadow is located near area wineries and beer distilleries. In short, it has everything going for it. If you're considering staying in the Finger Lakes area, check out this property and book it fast. The word is bound to get out!

I honestly can't say enough about this little slice of heaven. My fiancé, his brother in law and myself stayed for the weekend and we fell in love as soon as we pulled into the driveway. The owners Steve and Jeanette were so warm and inviting we left feeling more like family than we did guests. They were extremely helpful in letting us know what places to eat and visit during out stay. We tend to stay in B&B's when we travel and this was by far at the top of our list. The breakfast was delicious and everything homemade. We plan on going back for part of our honeymoon next month. We definitely recommend this amazing B&B!

When we arrived at MoonShadow we discovered that we were the the first guests of the new owners Jeanette and Steven. We spent 2 nights in the Luna Suite. It’s a lovely room on the first floor. The bathroom has recently been remodeled and has a fabulous shower. We were pleased to discover that this room also had a mini refrigerator for keeping your wine chilled. The room also has a very comfortable bed, 2 comfy chairs as well as a television, Amazon dot (for checking weather, etc.) and a remote for the window blind.

The food at breakfast was delicious. The main courses were quiches one day and ricotta pancakes the next. One family had to leave for an event before breakfast. Steven and Jeanette made sure that they provided breakfast items (put out early) that could easily be taken in the car for them.

The location for this B&B is about 7 miles from town. However there are 2 lake front restaurants within a mile of the house. There are also several wineries just a short distance away. We found it to be a great location. We very much enjoyed our favorite spot was the front porch swing sharing a bottle of wine with a great view of the lake. We also found Jeanette and Steven to be wonderful hosts.
