New proprietors and San Diego transplants bring their own magic and a California vibe to a beautiful corner of the world overlooking Keuka Lake. Guests benefit from the fact that Steve and Jeanette are former restaurateurs who love exploring the wines and local produce of the Finger Lakes region. They aim to please at MoonShadow; guest will love the warm welcome and chill but upscale experience with a front porch that invites conversation over a glass of award-winning Dry Riesling of Cab Franc. If you're lucky like I was, you can take their pups Mia and Chloe for an amble through the neighbor's vineyards and return in time for fluffy ricotta pancakes with lemon zest and raspberry compote.
