The proprietors make all the difference!

Awesome experience!

This was our first bnb as a couple, and it did not disappoint. I was a little apprehensive at the thought of eating breakfast and sharing common space with a group of strangers, but let me assure you there is nothing to be worried about. Moonshadow seems to attract people who are easy to get along with, and Steven and Jeannette make the experience unforgettable.

My first piece of advice is to take advantage of every "extra" they offer. Buy the wine tour - Steven runs the tour and knows every inch of the area. You never wait in line, Steven makes all the arrangements beforehand, tastings are included in the price of the tour, and you get to use Steven's wine club membership to purchase any bottles. The savings from the wine club membership was almost as much as the tour cost. This is not just an "average wine tour", much like everything at Moonshadow, Steven and Jeannette make it special.

The breakfasts are incredible. Truly gourmet. Everything is thoughtful and well done, and the homemade sauces they provide are amazing - we purchased four jars!

Buy the homemade pizza and hummus! It tastes incredible and is the perfect way to end the wine your while relaxing on the deck.

I can't say enough positive things about Moonshadow and it's proprietors - I am not a particularly "social" person, but for 48 hours I genuinely felt like I was home.
