It is in a great location overlooking Keuka lake. Our room had a great view. Both hosts, Jeanette and Steven, were friendly, engaging, and interesting. We arrived 3 hours late, due to an auto mishap, and had blown our restaurant reservations in town. Even though this is a B+B and doesn't normally offer dinner, Jeanette offered to whip something up. Awesome experience! This was our first bnb as a couple, and it did not disappoint. I was a little apprehensive at the thought of eating breakfast and sharing common space with a group of strangers, but let me assure you there is nothing to be worried about. Moonshadow seems to attract people who are easy to get along with, and Steven and Jeannette make the experience unforgettable. My first piece of advice is to take advantage of every "extra" they offer. Buy the wine tour -

The Loft was so very, very comfortable, very roomy and well-appointed. We slept very well and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts which were delicious and all home made: quiche with peri peri sauce, delicious lemon poppy scones with strawberry jam, berries and sourdough with fig jam, plus tea, coffee and juices etc. The recommendations for wineries, food etc were spot on and we loved the fire pit chat at the end of the evening: so relaxing. Jeannette and Steven are wonderful hosts, place is beautiful, rooms are clean and up to date with gorgeous bathrooms. The view is worth the trip….then they make breakfast and you are hooked!! We are def going back!!!
