My husband and I had such a lovely stay at Moon Shadow! This was our first time visiting the Finger Lakes and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Jeanette and Steven are wonderful hosts and made our time there perfect. Breakfast was INCREDIBLE. We added on a wine tour to our stay and Steven provided a wonderful experience taking us to a variety of wineries. We can’t wait to come back!
Our hosts, Stephen and Jeanette were wonderful and made for a very pleasant stay. Beautiful, clean home and amazing breakfasts! Our room was very comfortable and the front porch had a beautiful lake view to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.
We recently spent two nights with Jeanette and Steven at the Moonshadow and it was a 5 star (out of a possible 5) experience from the minute we walked onto the porch until the minute we left! The hosts: Its rare to find such warm,friendly proprietors. Steven and Jeanette make you feel right at home and indeed open up their entire home to their guests. A full breakfast is served every morning which is a great way to start the day. They know the area well and every recommendation they gave us (wineries, beer tastings, dinner) was a winner. The property: From the swing on the front lawn to the covered porch with comfy seating to the game room in an adjacent building - it all says, “relax, unwind, this is your home”. The common dining area is a nice touch and the living room is cozy and inviting. Guest rooms are comfortable and well appointed; ours had a very nice walk in showerwith excellent water pressure and no shortage of hot water.
