Moonshadow 💛

We spent three nights at Moon shadow this past week and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Jeanette and Steven are wonderful hosts and made our stay very comfortable and fun!

They truly love the area and it shows in all of our conversations, and special touches throughout their home.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The front porch has a lovely view , I was at such peace on the swing while listening to the wind chime and nature.

Breakfast was amazing every morning and one evening we enjoyed

homemade pizza and

yummy spinach/ strawberry salad.

Thank you both for a great stay, we look forward to returning.

Hard to imagine a better B+B

It is in a great location overlooking Keuka lake. Our room had a great view. Both hosts, Jeanette and Steven, were friendly, engaging, and interesting. We arrived 3 hours late, due to an auto mishap, and had blown our restaurant reservations in town. Even though this is a B+B and doesn't normally offer dinner, Jeanette offered to whip something up. In 20 minutes a great pasta with pesto emerged. Her breakfasts were fantastic. We did the wine tour with Stven, another great experience. Activity advice from both was perfect for us.

We hope to have a chance to return!

This was our first bnb as a couple, and it did not disappoint. I was a little apprehensive at the thought of eating breakfast and sharing common space with a group of strangers, but let me assure you there is nothing to be worried about. Moonshadow seems to attract people who are easy to get along with, and Steven and Jeannette make the experience unforgettable.

My first piece of advice is to take advantage of every "extra" they offer. Buy the wine tour - Steven runs the tour and knows every inch of the area. You never wait in line, Steven makes all the arrangements beforehand, tastings are included in the price of the tour, and you get to use Steven's wine club membership to purchase any bottles. The savings from the wine club membership was almost as much as the tour cost. This is not just an "average wine tour", much like everything at Moonshadow, Steven and Jeannette make it special.

The breakfasts are incredible. Truly gourmet. Everything is thoughtful and well done, and the homemade sauces they provide are amazing - we purchased four jars!

Buy the homemade pizza and hummus! It tastes incredible and is the perfect way to end the wine your while relaxing on the deck.

I can't say enough positive things about Moonshadow and it's proprietors - I am not a particularly "social" person, but for 48 hours I genuinely felt like I was home.
