A true sample of excellent hospitality

My husband and I just spent four amazing days at the Moonshadow B&B. Steven is a wonderful host and an even better cook. Breakfast everyday was a feast - can’t recommend it enough. The B&B itself is very well appointed, comfortable and has a fantastic view. Spending time on the porch, drinking tea and looking at the gorgeous lake is a privilege...For dog lovers the B&B also has two amazing specimens: Maya and Chloe. They are gorgeous and perhaps the best behaved dogs I have ever seen ;) We plan to go back - you should go too!

Fantastic and Relaxing

Steven and Jeanette, the owners, knew that our visit was to celebrate our 22nd anniversary. What they didn't know is that it would be the first time away to relax since my wife's diagnosis, surgery, treatment and recovery from breast cancer. We needed some serious downtime and relaxation. Yes, we found that, and so much more. The owners are lovely, engaging and accommodating. Breakfasts were incredible, clearly showing Stephen's vast experience as a chef. For relative newcomers to the area they are well versed in the area's points of interest, including wineries, breweries, restaurants, pottery artists and much much more. There is no way to recommend a bed and breakfast more highly. Our only negative was realizing we had to come home! Can't wait for October when we return for another visit.

Two stays in the same week

We came to the Finger Lakes region for the first time and couldn't have been more delighted. I chose the MoonShadow B&B based on the location and reviews and it certainly exceeded our expectations. The house, food, views, and of course the inn keepers, Steven and Jeanette make this a truly memorable experience. The location was ideal for visiting the many wineries, breweries, and small towns around the lake. The breakfasts were truly delicious and the house, especially the front porch, a great place to take in the views and relax, if doing nothing but looking at the lake. Our week long getaway started and ended at the MoonShadow. Our initial stay was so memorable we called 2 days after our first departure to see if we could stay one more night later in the week before ending our trip. Luckily they were able to accommodate our request. We ended our trip on a high note and will definitely be back to visit the area. Thank you!
